The Mirror
This is not a catalogue, and it is not the whole story. These are the photographs I let leave the house: what they show is real, and what they keep back is the reason to write.
A mirror shows exactly as much
as you stand in front of it.
Between the plates
What is deliberately missing from this room is the point of it. The rest is kept for evenings, not for websites.
Every plate is me, nothing borrowed, nothing invented; only the metadata has been removed. Photographs here are chosen for atmosphere and for privacy: mine and, one day, yours. If a picture feels like a suggestion rather than a statement, it is doing its job.
Twenty-one plates, one rule: enough to know the atmosphere, never the whole story. Click any plate to view it larger.
If the atmosphere suits you
The rest is not photographed.
Write with a date, the hours you have in mind and a line about yourself, and find out what the plates leave out.
The mirror flatters no one. I simply photograph well.
