Massage & Touch

Let me be precise, because this word attracts confusion: I am not a masseuse and you will find no salon here. Think instead of an evening where touch takes the lead for a while. Warm hands, low light, oil if we like, and the particular luxury of being attended to by someone who is entirely undistracted. Exchanged, ideally: I enjoy receiving attention as much as giving it.

Attention you can feel between the shoulder blades.

How touch behaves

An hour without words

I

The descent into the body

Ten minutes in, the day finally logs off. Touch does what conversation cannot: it makes thinking optional. Some guests fall half asleep; here, that counts as a compliment.

II

Unhurried by definition

There is no clock on the nightstand and no schedule of movements. Slowness is the whole technique: the pace where skin starts paying attention on its own.

III

The exchange

The loveliest version is mutual. Giving attention with your hands is its own quiet pleasure, and I am a generous teacher and an appreciative audience. Nobody keeps score.

This suits you if

Warm hands are for

  • The guest who carries his week in his shoulders and knows it.
  • Evenings that want intimacy at a whisper before anything else.
  • Those who find words difficult and touch honest. You are very welcome here.
  • A beautiful chapter inside a suite evening or an overnight, rather than a whole evening by itself.

And not for

Anyone comparison-shopping massage parlours by the half hour. The tariffs here are the tariffs of an evening, and what you book is my company, of which touch is one warm chapter. No treatment menus, no clinical claims, and the same etiquette in oil as in evening wear.

The practical part

A chapter, not a menu

Touch needs time to mean anything: four hours minimum, six if it should breathe, and it folds beautifully into a suite evening or an overnight. For professional wellness treatments as part of a day, see Slow Escapes; we book professionals for that and I keep the conversation.

Rates, screening and confirmation exactly as on The Hours; nothing here is priced by the minute, because nothing here is a procedure.

Asked and answered

Do you offer tantra?

I borrow its best idea, unhurried and meditative attention with nothing to achieve, and leave the certificates to the studios. If what you want is slowness, presence and warmth, we will understand each other perfectly without the vocabulary.

Massage first or dinner first?

Strong opinions exist in both directions. Dinner first makes touch unhurried; touch first makes dinner glow. Book six hours and refuse to choose.

Shoulders first, questions later

Book the evening your body has been requesting.

A date, four hours or more, the city, and mention that warm hands should be part of it. The oil is my department.

I warm my hands first. Civilisation depends on it.
